I was trying to get ready and stay calm through it all.
Someone noticed my face and asked me if I was okay (which
means that I did not LOOK okay). Right then, something
clicked and I realized that all of the past preparations
and decisions that led up to that moment were finally in
full motion; the day's momentum had begun and I needed to
just let go and "be the bride". So, I turned to my friend
and said, "Yes, I'm good - and in just a little while the
man I want to spend the rest of my life with will be
putting a ring on my finger and I don't care what happens
