In all my years of photographing weddings, so many
thoughts come to mind when I think of giving advice to
brides. Many brides tend to be very involved in the entire
wedding process and are more like coordinators than
brides. But whatever your level of involvement is regarding
your day, make sure you are not so encumbered by the
planning process that you cannot take a step back and BE
the bride the day of the wedding. This means you need to be
in a good place, so to speak, physically, mentally, and
emotionally. And preparing for that mind-set should start
